Therese Elford

Therese Marie Elford, age 52, of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at home. She is survived by her parents Bob and Marian Ladislaw; her loving husband E.C. Elford; children, Marie (Ben) Hartley, Lisa and Chris Cusick; stepson Drew (Sara) Elford; sister, Ann (Gary) Detro; nephew Bob Ladislaw; sister-in-law Leeann (Gregg) Lonkey; brother-in-law Lee Elford; best friends, Leslie (Robert) Reynolds and Wendy (David) Kessen; aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Therese was a retired Federal Civil Servant and was a team recipient of the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award. She was an avid bowler and Steelers fan. Therese was an inspiration to everyone who knew her and was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but take great comfort knowing she is at peace. Donations may be made in Therese's memory to the Scleroderma Foundation of Ohio (P.O. Box 105, Worthington, OH 43085-0105). The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 5pm-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432). The service will follow at 7pm.
