Theresa Lynn "Teri" Ulen, age 63 of Dayton, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at Southview Hospital. She was born July 17, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of David Garrison and Joyce Buschur.
She is preceded in death by her father, David Garrison; brother, David M. Garrison.
Teri is survived by her mother, Joyce M. Buschur; her husband of 35 years, Randy L. Ulen; sons, Travis L. (Stephanie) Ulen and Kevin A. Ulen; grandchildren, Alyssa and Kassidy and half-siblings, Kevin (Tina) Garrison, Brian (Heather) Garrison and Pam (Ben) Choat, as well as other extended family members and friends.
Teri was a 1974 graduate of Fairmont East High School and attended accounting classes at Sinclair Community College. She was employed locally with her skills at various businesses including Orbit and Advertising Display. In her spare time, Teri enjoyed spending time with her beloved dogs, Zoie and Kodie, reading magazines, cooking and caring for plants and flowers. She was also a talented seamstress for herself and family over the years and bowled with her husband regularly. Teri will always be remembered for her generosity and kindness, affection for animals and her love of family.
Family will receive guests from 5:00-7:00pm Friday, March 13, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home – KETTERING. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA at ASPCA Tributes, 520 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018.
