Theresa S Mcgraw

Theresa S McGraw, age 91 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Southview Hospital. She was born March 28, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio, the last of eleven children to Clyde and Margaret Clawson.

Theresa spent many years as a homemaker but also worked as a seamstress. She loved to play scrabble, bingo and visit the casino. She also enjoyed playing the piano, especially when her husband would sing to her. She had great crafting skills that she shared and taught to others. She taught her four children many practical life skills. It brought joy to her to teach her grandchildren and great grandchildren card games and dominos. Theresa was a loving wife, mother, grandma and great grandma who will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Holloway McGraw, father, Clyde Clawson, mother, Margaret Ann Clawson; siblings, Estella Clawson, Marjorie Slade, Kathryn Clawson, Patricia Clawson, Betty Scott, Nancy Brown, Barbara Gibbs, Lionel Clawson, Taylor Clawson & Clyde Clawson; brothers-in-law, Larry Morgan, Earl Smith, Robert Morgan, James McGraw & Virgil McGraw; sisters-in-law, Helen McGraw, Wilma Clawson, Jean Clawson & Marie McGraw and nephew, Tony McGraw.

Theresa is survived by her children, Michael (Kathy) McGraw, Patti Amick, John (Janet) McGraw & Ann (Chuck) Miller; grandchildren, Aaron (Gabby) Amick, Brent (Heather) Amick, Megan(John) Hudson, Brittany (Ben) Holmes, Chad (Radley) Miller & Madison (Phillip Dumas) Miller; great grandchildren, Rachelle Hudson, Kaylie Amick, Brandon Amick, Annmarie Amick, Ava Amick, CT Miller & Landon Miller; countless nieces, nephews & cousins.

Visitation will be May 29, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
