Theresa, "Mimi" Kilgallen, 59 of Dayton, passed away on March 23, 2022 at her home. She was born on July 14, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Michael Kilgallen and Carol Kilgallen nee' MacBeth.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Cole Allen, her parents, Michael and Carol, and various extended family members.
Theresa is survived by 3 children, Alicia Albrektson, Nicholas Albrektson, and Shannon Albrektson; 5 grandchildren, Natayah Vanderpool, Shayla Vanderpool, Malaysia Vanderpool, Nevaeh Vanderpool, and Augustus Vanderpool III; 4 siblings, Mary Bullock, Kathleen "Kathy" Sturgill, Noreen White, and Sheila Paxton; and her best friend, Darleen Nash. Theresa is also survived by numerous family and friends.
She was Catholic, graduated from Carroll High School, and got her Associates Degree as a Medical Assistant from Sinclair Community College. Theresa loved shopping with her daughters and grandchildren, camping, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her friends. She was kind, caring, a clean freak, and was always looking out for others. The most important thing to Theresa was her family. Theresa is well loved and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses.
