Theodore "Ted" Taulbee age 81, passed away Sunday October 20, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton.
Ted attended Dayton city schools as a young man and retired from Chemineer after more than 30 years of service.
Ted was a member in good standing with the V.F.W Post 657, and The Eagles Post 3491, as well as The 40/8 club.
Ted loved to garden and give each years' bounty to family and friends. He enjoyed riding his Goldwing Trike and playing cards with family and friends.
Ted is preceded in death by his Mother, Cappie Taulbee (Shockey); Father, Brutus Taulbee; two Brothers, Brian and Guy Taulbee; two Sisters Lucille Preston (Taulbee) and Helen Yinger (Taulbee).
Ted is survived by his Wife, Lucille Sutton; Daughter, Dorenda (Jimmy Bettle) Durham of Wilmington; Son, Alan Taulbee (Kathy); Daughter, Robin Sutton of Vandalia; Five Grandchildren, Chris (Bok) Taulbee, Dylan Butts, Kaylie Jarvis, Noah Sutton-Smith, & Tinley Sutton; Four Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews as well as many other family and friends.
Graveside service will be at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 N. Valley Rd. Xenia, OH 45385, on Friday October 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Jimmy Bettle officiating the service.
Flowers may be sent to Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432.
