Theodore R. "Ted" Ramsey age 93 of Huber Heights, passed away December 31, 2013. He was born March 26, 1920 in New Boston, OH to the late Sadie and Vada Ramsey. In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dean Ramsey; 3 sisters; and 3 brothers.
Ted is survived by his children: Steve (Anne) Ramsey, Joy (Bob) Gorham and Tim (Karen) Ramsey; 4 grandchildren: Matt (Missy) Ramsey, Katy Ramsey, Brian Gorham and Shelley (Vince) Catanzaro; 3 great grandchildren: Anna Lynne Ramsey, Jacob Ramsey and Dominic Catanzaro; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ted was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, WWII 1942-45 South Pacific. He was a truck driver with Wilson Freight for most of his career and was a member of the Million Mile Club. He was also a member of the Teamsters. Ted was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ted's memory to the Hospice of the Miami Valley.
