Theodore R. Talbert

Theodore "Ted" Roosevelt Talbert Sr. was born on March 25, 1931 to Frank and Larhunta Talbert in McCormick, South Carolina. At the age of 18 he joined the AirForce, and served in the Korean War. In 1960, he married Gwendolyn Hyman. Ted retired after 20 + years in the military, and held a second career at Panasonic, in Dayton, Ohio. On September 25th, 2016, God called him home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn Talbert, and is survived by two sons, Theodore R. Talbert Jr (Suzanne) Tampa, Florida, Donald J. Talbert Bossier City, Louisiana.
Visitation 9:00am until 11:00am Friday, September 30, 2016 at The Inspiration Church 2900 Philadelphia Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45405, where service will follow at 11:00am. Burial 2:00pm Monday, October 3, 2016 at Dayton National Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel.
