Theodore Roosevelt Linville Jr.

Theodore (Ted) R. Linville, Jr., age 75, of Kettering, born on September 5, 1944, in Harlan, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 23, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his son David, his parents Ted and Ruby, and his brothers Jim and Tommy.
Ted is survived by his wife, Jane, of 56 1/2 years, and they have been together as high school sweethearts for 60 years. Also survived by Daughter Kim; grandchildren Tyler (Cerissa) and Emily (Wesley); great grandchildren Noelle, Hunter, Gabrielle, and Carson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ted graduated from Fairmont High School in 1962. He attended Sinclair Community College and Wright State University. Working as a tool and die maker he owned his own shop, Linville Machine. Ted loved fishing, boating, and camping. Most of all, he loved his grands and great grands. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Kettering.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The First Baptist Church of Kettering.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2019, from 9-10 am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 10am. Burial will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
