Theodore H. Shull

SHULL, Theodore "Ted", age 70, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Audrey Shull and brothers, Richard Hughes and Thomas Hughes. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janyce; children, Ted (Sonya), Don (Greta), and Chuck (Heidi); grandchildren, Hannah, Ben, Megan, Beka, Jake, and Eli; siblings, Alice, Jackee, Bill, Sharon, and Lynda, and brother-like cousin, Bruce. He worked for Kettering Medical Center for 45 years as Grounds Superintendant. He was an Elder at Kettering Seventh Day Adventist Church and past President of the National Professional Grounds Management Society. He enjoyed golf, softball, and spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Kettering Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3939 Stonebridge Rd. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, August 31, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spring Valley Academy.
