Theodore Junior Frazier, age 90 of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014. He was born in Garrett, Kentucky to the late Theodore Roosevelt & Alice (Hicks) Frazier.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 62 years, Bertha (Fugate) Frazier, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
He honorably served in the US Army in WWII in the Panama Canal, Singapore, Easter Island, and worked in the coastal auxiliary. He then worked for Dayton Power & Light Company for 31 years, and retired in 1982. He enjoyed softball, camping, bowling and boating. He was a member of the VFW Post 2800. His favorite times were spent playing cards and being surrounded by his family.
Ted is survived by his daughters: Barbara (Charles) Ringo, Linda (Bob) Pollock, Alice (Jerry) Frantz, and Connie (Eli) Warner. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the Community Care Hospice of Wilmington, OH and the Hospitality East in Xenia, OH for their care and loving attention to Dad.
A visitation will be held 9-11AM, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM also at the funeral home.
Burial at Woodland Cemetery.
