Pendleton, Theodore D. "Ted", age 82, of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peggy; son, Marc (Missy) Pendleton of Englewood; granddaughter, Katie Pendleton, 2 grandsons, Christian and Aidan Pendleton;and brother, James Pendleton of Daytona Beach, FL.
He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.
Ted was born June 25, 1931 in Kennett, MO to the late Marc and Sylvas Pendleton. He earned his bachelor and master's degrees in music education at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Ted was an Army Veteran serving from 1955-57. He was in the 4th Army Band in Anchorage, AK. He was a vocalist and also played the French horn. Ted spent most of his working career in the music field, retiring as a manufacturer's representative for G.LeBlanc Music Co. He was an avid golfer and had a passion for flying. Ted obtained his pilot's license in 1977and enjoyed flying to numerous states with Peggy for golfing outings and visiting relatives.
Ted's family would like to thank Heartland of Beavercreek and Hospice of Dayton for their care and compassion.
