Theoda Landor
August 7, 1925 — July 17, 2014
Evangelist Theoda L. Landor, age 88, of Dayton, OH passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday July 17, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Landor; son, Clifford A. Landor; parents, Willie and Ocie Johnson; and 12 siblings.
She is survived by her son, Spencer B. Landor; granddaughter, Dawn (Nathan) Dunson-Landor-Bouldin; special friends, Ms. Helen Maxwell and Ms. Evangeline Donnelly; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Theoda was a faithful member of the Zion Baptist Church. She later became an Associate Minister of Ellerton United Church of Christ, Moraine, OH under the direction of Pastor Norman L. Hassertt.
Visitation is Monday July 28, 2014 from 11am to 12pm with funeral service starting at 12pm at the Zion Baptist Church, 1684 Earlham Drive, Dayton, OH 45406.
Reverend Rockney Carter Sr. is officiating.
Burial will follow at the Dayton National VA Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
