Age 79, of Huber Heights, passed away Monday, January 3, 2011, at her home after a lengthy illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Ida (White) Collins; and by eight siblings.
Thelma is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clyde Junior Maynard; five children, Brenda Turner, David Maynard, Janet (Ron) Campbell, Linda Huffman & Gary (Patricia) Maynard; five grandchildren, Miranda, Ronnie, Kelsey, Kyle & Joseph; three great grandchildren, Austin, Ashlee & Makayla; and by her extended family & many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday (1/6) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Epperson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
