Thelma Bailey

Bailey, Thelma M., age 85, of West Carrollton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. Thelma was a long time member of Miami Shores Baptist Church in Moraine and a ling time employee of Dayton Rust Proof and Quality Food and Vending.

Thelma is survived by her daughter: Barbara Ann Bailey of West Carrollton; sister: Jean Phillips; brother: Hobert Miller; sisters-in-law: Bessie Johnson, Geneva Miller, Alice Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Dup Bailey, parents: Ewing & Dora Miller; and four brothers: Carl, Ray, Cecil, & Bill Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 24 at Miami Shores Baptist Church, 4000 Vance Road, Moraine with Pastor Doug Surber officiating. Interment will follow the services at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel).
