Thelma B. Ward

WARD, Thelma, age 85, formerly of Fremont, OH, passed away Monday, January 21, 2008 at Bethany Lutheran Village, Centerville. Thelma was born July 7, 1922 in Boston, MA, the eldest child of George & Marguerite Watson. Thelma retired from Fremont Memorial Hospital in 1984. She was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Fremont, Sandusky County Senior Citizens and a volunteer with Mobile Meals. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert Eldon Ward in 2004; brother, George A. Watson, and sister, Norma Gaisas. She is survived by her children, David Ward (Thomas Nobbe) of Cleveland Heights, OH and Cynthia (Glen) Sharon of Dayton, OH; sister, Priscilla Arola of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Kristen and Michael Sharon. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Bethany Lutheran Village Auditorium, Centerville, OH. Family will receive friends from 10:30am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Graceworks Lutheran Services, 6451 Far Hills Ave., Centerville, OH 45459. Inurnment will be at a later date at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
