Terry Wayne Walters

Terry Wayne Walters, age 71, of Beavercreek, passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2023. Terry was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 10, 1952 to the late James and Ginger Walters.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Tony and Tim Walters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Cindy Walters; daughter, Erin (Adam) Barhorst; son, Tony Walters; daughter, Lisa (Doug) Sharritts; daughter, Jessica French; daughter, Ashley Walters; grandchildren, Bridget Durocher, Marlie Barhorst, Layton Barhorst, Eric Wead, Zach Sharritts, Allison French, Nicholas French; sister-in-law, Kathy Iaria; and many other loving family and friends.

Terry retired from LT Tax as a salesperson after many years. However, his real passion was music which he started in 8th grade, with his best friend and band mate, Pat McMichael. He was a member of many bands throughout his life, of which Flyweil and 24Seven were most notable. In his free time, he enjoyed serving as team captain and playing tennis at KTC Quail Tennis Club, where he was best known as "Cap". Terry also enjoyed going to the Casino with Cindy.

Terry was known for his charismatic and positive personality. He could brighten anyone's mood in an instant with his contagious smile. Terry was someone who people could turn to and who was willing to help anyone. He never met a stranger. Terry loved his family fiercely and was the best husband, father, papaw and friend. He will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek).
