Terry L. Tamaska, 66, of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. He was born November 4, 1955, in Dayton, to the late Joseph and Margie (Spurrier) Tamaska.
He was a 1974 graduate of Fairmont East High School, where he excelled in both baseball and football. After school, Terry went to work for General Motors where he tested experimental and next-generation brake systems for upcoming production vehicles. He gained the nickname "Ol Ter" by his friends, whom he spent many great days with at Fricker's. In his free time Terry enjoyed playing competitive softball, hunting, attending sporting events, watching Westerns, listening to Elvis and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his three children Terry (Lauren) Tamaska, Kristy (Josh) Betts, and Tommy Tamaska; 5 grandchildren, Kane, Kamden, Hayden, Kenley, and Hadley; sister Tammie (Duke) Napier; and many other family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his older brother, Randy Tamaska.
