Terry Sue Shelley

Terry Sue Shelley of Harrison Township, age 70, passed away on October 23, 2021. Terry was born to the late Forrest and Margie Greene in Detroit, Michigan, on January 5, 1951.

In addition to her parents, Terry was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 20 years, John S. Shelley.

Terry and John liked to take mini vacations and enjoyed capturing special moments with a Polaroid camera. They also enjoyed dancing, caring for their pets, finding the local restaurant specials of the week, and enjoying the simple pleasures of being in the home they built together. In later years Terry took solace in reading the Bible.

Terry's memory will be cherished by her siblings: Joe, Sheila, Judy, Edie, and Jeff; step-children: Teri & Ralph, Charles & Mindy, and Connie & Chris; eight step-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A gathering will be held from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Terry will be laid to rest with her husband at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
