Terry Sharkey

Terry Sharkey, age 71, of Dayton, passed away on December 20, 2023. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 23, 1952, the son of the late Thomas and Norma Sharkey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Col. Timothy "Tim" Sharkey.

Terry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Becky Sharkey; children, Bryan Sharkey, Kelly (Jeff) Adkins and Emily (Alex) Sharkey; grandchildren, Skyler, Chloe, Jake and Aubrey; siblings, Mike (Debbie) Sharkey, Pat (Mary) Sharkey, Denny Sharkey, John Sharkey, Cathy Sharkey and Molly (Joe) Carnahan; and many other loving family and friends.

He served his country proudly by serving in the United States Army. Terry retired from the Ohio Operating Engineers Union Local 18.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Graveside services will be held at 11:30am, on Friday, immediately following the Visitation, at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
