Terry G. Dahlin

November 2, 1956 — August 10, 2023

Terry Dahlin, 66, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 10,2023 with his immediate family surrounding him. He was born in Modesto, CA on November 2, 1956, to the late Gordon and Lovina Dahlin. He moved to Dayton, Ohio in 2016 where he lived for the remainder of his life.

He was a VERY PROUD Papa, loved spending quality time in the garage, helping family and friends with whatever project, and hang out with his "Little Man," Journey (his four-legged side kick). He loved playing golf, one hell of a pool player and loved kicking butt at some Donkey Kong and Risk! He loved teaching games to people like Poker, Spades, and Dominoes as well. He did all this while drinking his never ending cups of coffee!

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nancy Dahlin; children: Jocelyn Dahlin, Brent (Kurstan) Dahlin, and Jessica (Leo) Dahlin; 7 grandchildren, Fallon, Joshua, Orrin, Kayden, Collin, Gracie, and Calianne; his brothers: Wayne (Malinda) Dahlin and Glenn (Kathy) Dahlin. He is also survived by numerous family and friends who loved his sense of humor, loyalty standards, his passion in things like wood working and yard work and loved to pass his knowledge and experience to the younger generation.

He was onery, bold, blunt, and gruff but he was a very good hearted, warm, helpful and insightful man as well. He ALWAYS did things HIS WAY! He lived by the moto "If Papa can't fix it, we're all screwed!" He's a man that was a well-rounded soul that will be greatly missed.
