Teresa "Terri"A. Williams

Teresa (Terri Arnold-Shaw) Williams, age 71, of Dayton, OH passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. Teresa was born in Dayton on January 7, 1952. She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Edward Guy Williams, and stepfather, Donald J. Shaw. Terri is survived by her daughter Teresa M. Williams; mother, LebaRae Shaw; siblings, Gary (Josephine) Shaw, William Shaw (Latisha Robinson), Joni (James) Thompson, Valerie Shaw, Regina (Melvin) Williams, Pamela (Darren Brown) Smith-Johnson, Karla (Michael) Smith Jackson, and David (Dantignac) Smith; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Janiah, and Lauren; nieces, nephews, a host of relatives, friends, and special friend since childhood, Connie Massie. Terri attended Kennedy School for the Deaf and was a 1971 graduate of Belmont High School. Employed by ElderBeerman and later by Micro Devices, she continued to work towards her life dreams…..save money, buy a car, travel, marry, and have a child. She did it all in that order. Terri was a jokester and never met a stranger. She kept in close contact with old and new friends throughout the country. Most would call this her sunset, but for Terri, this is her sunrise! Her life was a treasure, her memory a blessing. She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 1 to 2 pm followed by service at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424.
