Tera Lea Hook

Tera Lea Hook (Beck), age 68 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born May 18, 1953. Tera was a graduate of Fairmont East High School class of 1971 where she met the love of her life, Michael Hook.

Tera is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Tera is survived by her pride and joys; her husband of 48 years, Michael, two daughters Minda Moore and Krista Hempel (Grant), and her three beautiful granddaughters, Mia Moore, McKinna Moore and Lenora Hempel. Siblings Chris Beck, Julia Smith (Bob), Tina Bracewell (Cameron), Jenna Kurtz (Gary), Tonya Zengel, and Johanna Beck and sister-in-laws Linda Hook (Anne), Cathy Levan (Don), and Marilyn Kallas (Rick). She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Tera, also known as "Tete", loved to spend time with family and friends. Above all, Tera was the most loving and amazing wife and mother that was dedicated to her family. She was selfless and thoughtful, always putting everyone before herself. Tete gave her all and never expected anything in return. She was the listening ear and gave the best advice to all that she touched. Her infectious personality always brightened everyone's day. She was the family's anchor and made them into the people they are today. She will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her.

A private funeral service and celebration of life will be held on November 28, 2021.
