BOGGS, Tennyson, 81, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2003, at his residence. Tennyson was born July 10, 1922, in Sandy Hook, KY., son of Lafayette Boggs Sr. and Kathryn Skaggs Boggs. He was a christian and member of Moraine City First Church of God, a US Army veteran of World War II and a retired member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #162 of Dayton, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Tennyson was preceded in death by two brothers, Edison Boggs and Lafayette Boggs Jr., four sisters, Stella Gillum, Lillian Thornberry, Goldie Stephens and Martha Oney. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Glendale Dickerson Boggs; one son, Donald Boggs and wife Vickie of St. Cloud, FL., one daughter, Regina Boggs Harrell and husband John of West Carrollton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Donna Evans and husband Chancey of Carlisle, Ohio, Crystal Morgan and husband Kirk of West Carrollton, Ohio, Amanda Taylor and husband Traves of Elgin Air Force Base, FL., two great-grandchildren, Shane Evans and Alexandria Taylor. He is also survived by two sisters, Mable Lewis of Sandy Hook, KY., Edna Childress of Smith's Grove, KY. and one brother, Delbert Boggs of Glendale, AZ. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday, December 14, 2003 at Moraine City First Church of God, 5867 Springboro Pike, Dayton, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday, December 15, 2003 at the church. Rev. Russell Hays and Rev. Robert Northcutt will be officiating with interment in forest Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Farley Funeral Home, Kettering, Ohio.
