Ted E. Simmons Sr.
April 25, 1924 — January 8, 2017
Ted E. Simmons Sr., age 92 of Eaton,OH passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017. He was born April 25, 1924 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Donald and Dorothy Simmons.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Brooks.
Ted is survived by his wife of 78 years, Frances; sons, Ted (Linda) Simmons Jr., Donald L. (Pam) Simmons, Dale Simmons, Tommy (Robin) Simmons; daughters, Nancy Burkhart, Jewell (Roland) Surls; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ted served his country in the United States Army during WWII where he received a Bronze Star for his outstanding service. He was employed with Lau Inc. for over 30 years.
A private burial will take place at Bearcreek Cemetery at a later date.
