Ted Freeman Rose, age 93, of Dayton, passed away June 13, 2021. Ted was born July 11, 1927 to the late Freeman and Irma Rose.
In addition to his parents, Ted was also preceded in death by his brother, Eugene C. Rose; sister, Lucille Tabb; and fiancée, Peggy Parker.
He is survived by his daughters: Connie (Charles) Waymire, Cynthia (Don) Fry, and Caryl Lunsford; grandchildren: Candice, Cherri, Mandilynne, Brandon, Jeremy, and Keeli; 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including Juanita Rose Stevens.
Ted will be remembered for his humor, great stories and vast vocabulary. He loved telling jokes and playing musical instruments.
A celebration of life gathering for Ted will be held on June 19, 2021 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. A private burial will be held at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
