September 25, 1935 — June 22, 2019
Ted W. Roop age 83, of Beavercreek passed away June 22, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Fredia Roop; parents Guy and Hazel Roop; brothers Fred Roop and David Roop.
Ted served in the U.S. Army. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
He is survived by his daughter Rhonda (Jeff) Meyers; sisters Louise Cecil and Carol Horton; many nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends.
Ted was a loving and devoted father. He started racing harness horses in 1969 and continued until his health took a toll on him.
Ted's family will greet friends and family on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. A funeral will take place at 1:00 pm followed by interment in Valley View Memory Gardens.
