Tayna V. Yeager, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on January 11, 2025, in Union, Ohio, at the age of 58. Born on May 7, 1966, in Dayton, Ohio, Tayna was a vibrant spirit who brought joy and love to everyone she encountered.

Tayna graduated from Stebbins High School, where her infectious laughter and friendly demeanor began to blossom. Shortly after, she dedicated nearly 40 years of her life to Lion Apparel, showcasing her unwavering work ethic and commitment. Her colleagues remember her as a bright light in the workplace, always ready to lend a hand or share a kind word.

A fun-loving person, Tayna thrived in the company of others, especially her cherished family. She found immense joy in cooking delicious meals for her loved ones and planting vibrant flowers that reflected her sunny personality. Tayna’s passion for music and outdoor concerts filled the air with memories shared among family and friends, evoking laughter and warmth.

Most importantly, Tayna adored spending time with her daughter, Megan and grandchildren, Harper and Avery. Their presence brought her an unparalleled sense of happiness; she cherished each moment with them, creating lasting memories that her family will hold dear forever.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Rawlins; her daughter, Megan (Tyler) Schrodi; grandchildren: Harper and Avery; her sisters, Georgianna Haddix and Charlene Hartzell (Dave); her brothers, George Yeager and Merlyn Yeager (Heidi); her sisters-in-law, Tonya Rawlins and Robin Trusheim (John); aunt, Rosey Connor; her best friend, Lucy Ball-Maggard; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who were fortunate enough to know her.

Tayna now joins her beloved mother, Babbette "Betty" Matheney; her father, Merlyn Yeager; her sister, Marjon Haddix; her mother and father-in-law, Betty and Harold Rawlins; and her brothers-in-law, George Jeffery Haddix and Steve Dixon in eternal rest.

As we grieve the loss of Tayna, we celebrate the remarkable life she led—a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to her family and friends. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she left behind, and her memory will forever be intertwined with the hearts of all who knew her.

Tayna's family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
