Tammy Muir-Stokes, age 59 of Kettering, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at home. She was born August 21, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Mabel Muir. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her brother, George Wayne Nicely in 2016.
Tammy is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Keith Stokes; son, Shane Hoang; two daughters, Ashlee (Greg) Ricker and Meghan Stokes; eight grandchildren; sister, Fonda (Roger) Smith; two nephews, Scott (Rebecca) Smith and Kevin Smith; niece, Jessica Jurita. Tammy is also survived by numerous family and friends whom she loved dearly.
Tammy was a devoted to her faith and a loving health care worker. She enjoyed traveling especially to Gatlinburg, TN with her husband. The most important thing to Tammy was her family and their trips to Cedar Point Amusement Park. She is well loved and will be deeply missed.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). Casual attire is preferred while we honor Tammy's life.
