Tammy “Mam”Sue Arndts (Settle)

Tammy "Mam" Sue Arndts (Settle), age 60, of Vandalia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Tammy was born in Dayton on May 2, 1963.

She was preceded in death by her father, John L. Arndts Jr. and aunt, Sandra "Sandy" Mumford.

Tammy is survived by her mother, Charlene Arndts; daughters, Tara (Josh Medley) Coy and Toni (Cody) Orick; grandchildren, Cristian Coy, Leah Medley, Laci Medley, Haley Orick, Maddie Orick, Zoey Coy, Peyton Medley, McKinley Orick, and Jayden Orick; brothers, Charles "Chuck" (Sandra) Arndts and John (Paula) Arndts III; sister, Suzie Hurt; nephew, John (Hannah) Arndts IV; best friend/great-niece, Evelyne "Evie" Arndts; beloved dogs, Lucy and Lilly and many other relatives and friends.

Tammy was a generous loving mother, mammy, daughter, sister and friend. She enjoyed being outdoors-especially hiking, walking, camping and swimming. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Tammy will be remembered for her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 1-2pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424. The memorial service will follow at 2pm.
