Age 63, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine & McClee Godsey.
He is survived by his loving wife of the past 16 years, Charlene Godsey; aunts & uncles, Percell & Ann Elam and Dana & Douglas Begley; many other relatives & friends, including his special aids, Terri Profitt, Stella Robinson & Evette Stringer.
Roger was active in the Lions Club, Dayton Jaycees and Hike for the Handicap.
Visitation 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., Sunday (10/30) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday with Pastor Roger Godsey-Bell officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to Charlene to help with expenses.
