Szabina Flamm, 84, died on September 12th, 2022 at her home in Surprise, Arizona near Phoenix in the presence of family. Mrs. Flamm was born on November 20th, 1937 in Tap, Hungary outside of Budapest. She immigrated to the United States and settled in Dayton, Ohio in 1957 as a young woman and worked briefly at the Sucher's Meat Packing Co.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Fred Flamm who passed in 2004. She moved to Arizona in 2017 and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Julius and Cherie Flamm. She has three Grandchildren, Taylor Flamm, Shelby (Flamm) Scarpelli and husband Nick, Kendall (Flamm) Kerry and husband Ian. She has one Great grandchild, Casey Scarpelli.
She was best known for traditional Hungarian baking and cooking and her kind and gentle spirit. The family asks that any Tribute Donations be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org).
