Sylvia Jean Jordan Sizemore left this world and entered eternity in the arms of her Savior on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the age of 68 after a lengthy illness.
Sylvia, "Jean" was born in Coeburn, Virginia on October 27, 1954, to the late Elmer C. and Edna M. Adkins Jordan. She loved her family and loved watching her grandchildren spin flags, play the drums, play football and basketball, use bicycles to jump off roofs and ramps, and cheer. Wherever the family was at, she was always there. She loved family picnics, holidays, and gathering around to share memories with anyone that would listen. Her grandchildren were blessed to know family members they had never met through the stories Sylvia would tell.
Sylvia loved the Lord and served in many capacities in the church for many years. From Sunday school teacher to Youth Director, she shared the love of Jesus. She is now resting comfortably in His kingdom along with her parents, sister, Glenda S. Ward, and nephew Steven R. Ray, Jr, as well as her grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Sylvia is survived by her husband of 20 years, J Michael Sizemore of Kettering and 2 daughters, Michelle (Rich) Coolman in Fairborn, and Heather Boggs in Kettering. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Hannah (Justin) Smith in Sandusky, OH, Joe (Alanna) Boggs in Beavercreek, Jackson Coolman serving in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Lakenheath AB in England, Dawson Boggs in Kettering, Caleb Coolman and Emma Coolman both in Fairborn; a sister, Mary (Steven) Ray in Nashville, TN, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
