MARKS, Sylvia age 77, passed away August 3, 2012 at the Widows Home of Dayton.

She is preceded in death by her husband the love of her life for 55 years, Richard "Rich" Marks; parents, Albert and Ruth Praeg; twin sister and best friend, Shirley Martz; brother, Donald Praeg; and son-in-law, Terry Meuret.

She is survived by her children, who were the greatest joy in her life, Robert (Geri) Marks, Kathleen Meuret, Jeffrey Marks, David Marks, Laura (Jeffrey) Trego, and Steven (Robin) Marks; grandchildren, Christopher, Sarah, Joshua, Jason, Michael, Megan, Paige, Colton, Kayla, Katrice, and Seth; 6 great-grandchildren; and 3 nieces, Sharon, Amy, and Denise.

Sylvia was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Sylvia dedicated her life to loving Rich for 55 years and her children up until her last breath early Friday morning.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 6, 2012 from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held following the visitation on Monday at 1:30 pm at Our Lady of The Rosary, 22 Notre Dame Ave.

Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be to the Alzheimers Association.
