Sylvia L. Kaehler, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Widow's Home of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Pearl Croft and her loving husband, William F. Kaehler. She is survived by her five children, Bill (Debbie) Kaehler, John (Pat) Kaehler, Suzie (Jon) Robertson, Rosie (Dave) Dempsey and Steve (Pat) Cornell; nine grandchildren, Bill and Aaron Kaehler, John and Emily Kaehler, Angellett (Matt) Cook, Denise Hollst, Brian (Barb) Wells, David (Linda) Phipps and Alex Cornell and her step-grandchildren, Denise Baker, Scott, Joseph and Stephen Dempsey. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Sylvia was a charter member of St. Helen Parish, a long standing member of the church choir, and worked at St. Helen School. She Retired from Rikes after 20 years.
Family will receive friends Friday, December 9, 2016 from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Helen Parish, 605 Granville Place, Riverside, OH, Fr. Satish Joseph, Celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sylvia's memory to Hospice of Miami Valley or the Widow's Home of Dayton.
