Syble Carroll Henry

Syble Carroll Henry, age 82, of Fairborn, passed away March 13, 2024. Syble was born in Crossville, Tennessee on June 8, 1941 to the late Estel and Martha Scarbrough.

Syble is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years, Alfred Henry; daughter, Sheryl Vallone and her sister, Delores Scarbrough.

She is survived by son, Christopher (Janet) Henry; daughter, Janie (Marlin) Larson; son, Anthony (Jodi) Henry; brother, James (Rita) Scarbrough; grandchildren, April Stone, Rollin Stone, Stephanie Swain, Samantha Dixon, Shelly Vallone, Jessica (Caleb) Williams, Matt Henry, Alexandria Henry, Kristen Henry and Justin Henry; great grandchildren, Henry Williams, Jayden Stone, Willie Wortham, Madison Wortham and Janelle Wortham; great-great grandchildren, Brielle & Elisa and niece and nephews, DeeDee, Doug & Joe Shear, Jeff Eubanks, Eric Henry and Joey Meyers.

Syble was a homemaker. Her family was her life. Syble was an avid supporter of Girls and Boys Scouts. In her free time, she enjoyed taking pictures, watching Western movies and listening to Elvis.

Syble was very kind and loving. She never met a stranger and could always spark a conversation.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 2:00pm at Dayton National Cemetery (4400 W Third St, Dayton)
