Suzanne L. Wilkinson, age 48, of Englewood passed away August 18 at Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born July 25, 1970, in Dayton and lived in Ohio, Texas and North Carolina. She graduated from Stratford High School, Houston, TX (1989), served in the U. S. Air Force, Lackland and Kelly AFB (1992-1996), and was a member of Crossroads Community Church of Stokesdale, NC, where she became a Christian and was the Praise Band's number one fan.
She is survived by husband, Michael Paul Wilkinson and daughter Cecily Rae Coburn, of Ohio; mother Diana Little, sister Stephanie Chadwick, nephew Kenneth Chadwick, niece Jessica Morris, of Texas; sister-in-law Teresa Eskew of Florida.
She was a talented mosaic artist and craftsperson who enjoyed art, music, sewing, decorating, reading and extreme sports, including skydiving and zip lining. She was a loving and considerate person who was blessed to live a happy life. She touched the lives of many people and pets during her lifetime. Her favorite thing was spending time with her wide circle of family and friends who will greatly miss her.
Suzanne's celebration of life takes place Friday, Aug. 24 at 4:00 pm at Fairhaven Church, Northmont Campus, 5001 W. National Rd., Clayton, OH 45315. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to: Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati at tealpower.org.
