Age 83, of Dayton passed away peacefully Friday, September 2, 2011, at The Hospice of Dayton.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Earl A. Shoemaker; her parents, Harry & Clara Fries; and by three sisters, Florence Saul, Grace DeHaven & Rita Marzetta.
Sue is survived by four children, Linda Knoop-Graham, Ron (Debra) Irwin, Steven Shoemaker & Kim (Rob) Bertke; ten grandchildren, Mindy (Bill), Zack, Matt (Angie), Josh, Jessica, Alex, Samantha, Katrina, Amanda & Allison; three great grandchildren, Emily, Justin & Madison; two sisters, Mary Jane (Herb) Stocker & Joan Ault; and by her extended family and many good friends & neighbors.
Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (9/8) at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at the corner of Fifth & Bainbridge Streets. The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sue's memory to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
