Susan K. Vargo, age 68 of Miamisburg, passed away February 10, 2021. She was born June 8, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Frank and Betty Vargo.
Susan is survived by her sister, Judi Anderson (Jerry) of Tipp City; brother, Charles Vargo of Dayton; nieces: Amanda Anderson Lawson (Mitch) and Jennifer Anderson Morse (A.J.); great-nephews: Samuel Lawson, Wesley Morse and Zachary Morse all of Tipp City; and cousins: Julie Bowling of Dayton and Stan Martin of Georgia.
Susan was a 1970 graduate of Bellbrook High School and she attended the University of Dayton. Susan worked as a Buyer in the Retail Industry, mostly in Dayton, OH and 10 years in Nashville, TN. During her time in Nashville, Susan enjoyed songwriting and singing backup with several local groups. After returning to Dayton, Susan worked for GE Synchrony and retired from there after many years of service. No matter where she lived, Susan was always a fan of The Ohio State University. GO BUCKS!
Susan's family is planning a memorial service to be held at a later date. Contributions may be made in Susan's memory to SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center, Dayton, OH.
