Susan Diana Scholl, age 71, of Dayton, passed away on January 19, 2020. Diana was born on July 24, 1948 in Columbus, OH. She was the daughter of Robert and Minnie Belle (Echstenkamper) Baer.
Diana was a devoted wife and mother. She took much joy in caring for her family and home. In her spare time, Diana was a collector of antiques, focusing on early-American furniture and decor. Diana was an incredible animal lover and devoted much of her time in protecting and caring for injured or abandoned animals. Diana would conduct wildlife talks to school children to teach them the gifts of nature. She was a true care giver at heart. Her greatest joy and love of her life was spending time with her family especially her granddaughters, Ava and Evelyn.
Diana leaves behind a living legacy consisting of her loving husband, Jerry; son, Eric and his wife Leah Scholl of Centerville, OH; granddaughters, Ava and Evelyn Scholl; sister, Nancy and her husband, Chris Feucht of Canal Winchester, OH; brother, Robert and his wife Marie Baer of Marblehead, OH; and many extended family and close friends.
Along with her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Baer.
A Celebration of Life gathering for Diana will be held on Friday, February 7th, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Northeast Columbus Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.
