Susan Jane Rodenberg (nee Amschler), age 66 of Riverside, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021. She was born April 26, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Martin and Rita Amschler.
In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Amschler.
Susan will be missed by her loving children, Eric (Jennifer) Rodenberg and Katie (Steven) Tack; six grandchildren, Madeline Tack, William Tack, Emily Rodenberg, Tyler Tack, Joseph Rodenberg and Lucas Tack; and a brother, Martin (Sharon) Amschler.
Susan was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She grew up in Mt. Airy, Ohio, and was a graduate of McAuley High School (now Mercy McAuley). She received her Bachelor's degree graduating from the University of Cincinnati with honors, her Master's degree from Kent State University, and worked for the Dayton Metro Library.
Susan had a very good sense of humor. She loved cooking, art, reading, music, gardening, and her Cincinnati Bengals. She enjoyed being outside swimming at the pool and traveling- especially to the beach. She loved dogs, especially her Maltese, Scout. She will be dearly missed all who knew and loved her.
