PEARSON, Susan Emma, of Dayton, passed away on December 24, 2017 after a two year fight with cancer. She was born on April 10, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH.
She graduated from UD and worked there for 25 years. After retiring from UD she was employed by Knollwood Nursery where she became a Master Gardener. Her greatest joy was her volunteer work at the Grotto at the VA Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret McKenna of Cincinnati and sister, Margaret (Ron) Shallick. She is survived by her husband, David Pearson; sister, Michel (Ron) Klug; nieces, Jennifer (Andrew), Emman, and Isabella Lemmink of Cincinnati.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 10:00 - 10:30 am with a memorial service following at 10:30 am at Newcomer (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
