Susan Marie Bohardt
Age 58, of Vandalia, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008.
Susan was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of the past 22 years, Robert D. Bohardt; her parents, Jerome & Joan (Reboulet) Trick; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cara & Paul Kohlrieser and their children, Ben & Lily, Melinda & Jeff Stamm and their children, Riley & Luke and Julia & Dusty Beam and their children, Cade, Kendall & Maya; five brothers, Mike, Mark, Jeff, Chris & Dan Trick; and by two sisters, Anita Moulds & Pam Froehlich.
Susan was a dedicated pediatric nurse at Dayton Children's, Emergency Department for 23 years. She committed her life to serving, nurturing & healing children. The family would like to thank the countless people who contributed to Susan's welfare during her courageous battle with sarcoma. They would especially like to thank all of the staff of Children's Emergency Department, as well as members of the Sinclair Community College Allied Health Division for their spiritual, emotional & financial generosity. Although she will be greatly missed, her amazing strength has inspired us and will carry us through.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Frank Kerferl at 11:00 a.m., Saturday (1/3) at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Road, Vandalia. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
