Susan Holmes

Susan Marie Holmes, age 64 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024. She was born August 25, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles and Nancy Gates. She graduated from Monroe High School. Susan owned and operated her own painting company, Overstreet Painting and Decorating for over 20 years. She was a very social and outgoing person and enjoyed camping, animals, especially cats, and spending time at the casino. Susan enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed. 

She is preceded in death by her Parents; and her Brother, Jeffrey William Gates.

Susan is survived by her Sister, Teresa (Donald) Gentry; Aunt, Mary Anne (Robert) Samad; Nieces, Diana Gentry, Danielle (Eric) Shammo, and Delaney Gentry; Nephew, Ryan Gates; Devoted Friend, Diane Moorman; and by numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews and friends.
