Susan Fugate

FUGATE, Susan Lynn Rotert, born October 30, 1960 to Irvin J. and Marie (Davies) Rotert passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013. Sue is preceded in death by her mother, Marie (Davies) Rotert, brother Steve, niece and Goddaughter, Melissa Fortener McLaughlin, great nephew John Patrick McLaughlin, grandparents Clarence and Mildred Rotert, Marie and Adam Davies and Sam Faunce, Brother in law, Jesse Woolum, and a dear friend, Greg Jenkins. She is survived by her loving son, Matthew (Jen), dad, Irv Rotert, sister Donna Woolum, sister Pam (Donny) Fortener, nephew Nick (Meredith) Fortener, nieces Jessica (Brian) Hardin and Becky Woolum, great nephew David, great nieces Nevaeh and Jessie. She is also survived by her great nephews Andrew and Max whom she loved dearly and who loved her.

Sue was a 1978 graduate of Carroll High School. If you were a friend of Sue's you most likely own some of her creative artwork or handmade jewelry. She was a loving, caring mother, compassionate daughter and sister and had the most beautiful smile ever. She is loved and will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Sue's life will be held Monday, January 14, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Greenmont Village Community Hall on Rembrandt Ave (behind Dots Market on Patterson Road).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sue's memory may be made to her son Matthew to help defray funeral expenses or to the Melissa Fortener McLaughlin Scholarship fund (c/o 1713 Dutchess Avenue, Kettering, OH 45420). Envelopes will be available at the service.
