Susan Yvonne Clark

Susan Yvonne Clark, age 79, of Dayton, passed away April 28, 2022. She was born December 8, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert and Helen Showalter. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Clark; son, Brian Clark; and brother, James Showalter.
Susan is survived by her children: Kurtis Clark (Pam), Amy Clark and Betsy Clark; grandchildren: Ricky Matthews, Whitlee Rutland, Hayden Clark, Aaron Clark, Jordan Clark and Baylee Clark; and a host of friends.
Susan had a huge heart and never said no to anyone. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her daughter's foster dogs. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Susan worked at the Submarine House on North Main Street for many years and was a door greeter at Sam's Club on Miller Lane.
The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. In honor of Susan's memory, donations can be made to an animal rescue center of your choice.
