Sun Yon Sturgill

Sun Yon Sturgill also known as An Sun Yon and "Peggy" age 71 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on November 22, 2020. She was born on March 20, 1949 in Pusan, South Korea daughter of the late An, Tae Soo and Sun, Bun.

Sun Yon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed traveling. Sun Yon was a active member at Cherry Hill Baptist Church. She loved cooking, gardening, and shopping. Sun Yon enjoyed spending her time surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Sun Yon was preceded in death by her brother, An, Jong Ho.

Sun Yon is survived by her husband of 50 years, Clarence B. Sturgill; children, Adam B. (Pam) Sturgill and Emily (James) Saylor; grandchildren, Sydney, Seth, and Lauren; siblings, Shin, Wea Soon (Lee Soo Yang) and An, Jong Teck( Suh, Ooey Cha); as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Funeral Service will begin at 12:30pm at the Funeral Home with Pastor Oh officiating. Burial to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
