Suja Lee

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Suja Lee, a woman whose presence was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Suja was born on December 2, 1944 in Chonbuk South Korea to her loving parents Pok-Ye Kim and Kwon-Tae Lee.

Suja's journey on this Earth came to a peaceful end on August 8, 2024 in Dayton, OH. Throughout her life, Suja was known for her caring and loving nature that had the power to light up any room she entered. Her genuine warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

Apart from her raditant personality, Suja had a myriad of interests that brought her joy. She adored golfing, cooking scrumptious meals, tending to her garden, taking serene walks, and hiking amidst nature. Her generous spirit also led her to volunteer at her local church, where she found fulfillment in helping others and spreading goodwill.

Suja's memory will forever be cherished and kept alive by her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Edward Crossman and George Eastman Jr.; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Lauren Crossman and Gideon Lee Crossman; her brothers Hyon-Young Lee, Jin-Young Lee, Un-Young Lee, and Ho-Young Lee; her sisters Min-Ja Lee, Mi-Young Lee, and Chae-Young Lee; and her beloved companion, her dog Beanie.

In honoring Suja's remarkable life and the impact she had on those around her, a Visitation has been scheduled on August 19, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by a 1:30 PM Funeral Service at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton Chapel, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424.

Suja Lee will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, her boundless generosity, and the light she brought into the world. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire generations to come.
