Sue Evelyn King, age 84, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in Sumter, SC. She was born January 27, 1939 in Crittenden, KY to the late Gladys and Otis Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Paul J. King and her sisters, Charlotte Alexander and Eloise Baynum.
She is survived by her children, Connie Fernandez, Michael (Trisha) King, Paula (Curt) Woodie, Pamela Sullivan and Christopher (Karen) King; 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and her brother, Charles (Lorraine) Alexander. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd, Huber Heights, OH 45424. Burial to follow in Dayton Memorial Park.
