Sue L. Greene, age 71 of Dayton, departed this life on February 25, 2022. She was born November 9, 1950 in Pleasureville, Kentucky to the late Paul Greene and Fannie Goodloe Rogers. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Robert White, Kenneth Rogers, Jackie Rogers, Charles Rogers, Vivian Greene, Peggy Chambers, Zelma McCorry, Garnetta Robinson; and great-grandson, Sherman Moss III.
Sue was an employee of McCall's Printing Plant, and was a home daycare provider for Montgomery County for many years. She was also an adult daycare provider for some of the elderly in her neighborhood. She was of Methodist denomination and believed in the power of prayer. Sue enjoyed family gatherings and cooking; she was known for her special chili and chocolate pies. She also enjoyed singing, and won an award for singing Ave Maria in high school.
Sue was very social, and made friends everywhere she went. In the summertime, you could always find her sitting on her front porch. She was always laughing and making jokes, but also had a very serious side to her. Sue was a big fan of old school R&B, and loved to shake it up on the dance floor or wherever the feeling hit. For those of you who knew her, you know exactly what that means.
