Sue Ann Fandel, age 79, was born in Seattle, Washington March 4, 1941 and went to sleep in Jesus April 10, 2020 in Kettering, Ohio.
She was the daughter of Roy Andrew McCann and Verda Lorina Smith. Sue was raised by her mother and step-father, Gerald N. Foster. She attended school in Sterling City and Chico, CA. Sue was married to Thomas Arthur Fandel on October 15, 1960 in El Cajon, CA, and they had one son, Jerry Fandel.
Sue worked as a school bus driver, a secretary for the Paradise Post Newspaper, and a medical secretary for a pulmonologist group in Paradise, CA where she lived for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Virginia Standridge, son, Jerry, niece, Sharon Standridge, and several nephews.
Sue is survived by two brothers, Jim Foster of Bakersfield, CA and Mickey Foster of Dillingham, Alaska, daughter-in-law, Lori Fandel of Las Vegas, NV; four granddaughters, Stephanie, Kimberly, Grace, Molly; her adopted niece, Phebe Fagala of Kettering, OH, and many other nieces and nephews.
Sue was a member of the Centerville Ohio SDA Church and enjoyed reading, gardening and studying her bible. She was known for her great hugs and quirky sense of humor.
